Welcome to the Sports Medicine Department at New England Holistic Health Center. At our Glastonbury facility, we offer comprehensive treatment of injuries and on-going wellness care to athletes of all ages. Our dedicated staff works with individuals to develop lifestyle programs, including patient-specific rehabilitation, Chiropractic care, exercise, and nutrition. Throughout the rehabilitation process, your needs as an athlete and individual remain the primary focus of the staff. A comprehensive evaluation of your injury will insure a course of treatment developed specifically for you. Individual rehab programs incorporate Chiropractic care, sports or activity specific rehab, nutritional counseling, and multi-level exercise instruction to assure and maintain as fast a recovery as possible. We also offer Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi, either as a component of a comprehensive treatment plan, or as a healthful addition to a wellness regime.

The Sports Medicine Department at New England Holistic Health Center treats athletes of all ages, levels, and disciplines in a holistic and caring manner. We provide integrative care to our patients, addressing injury and prevention and continued athletic development through rehabilitation, chiropractic care, and nutritional and exercise counseling. Our goal is to treat the whole person and not just the symptoms or presenting problems. Our doctors understand the importance of a wellness regime developed specifically for you and your unique needs as an individual and an athlete. Herein lies the key to the continued motivation required to succeed. We realize, as does the athlete, that success is based on continuous effort. There is significant chiropractic participation in US professional football. Certified athletic trainers see a role for the Chiropractic Sports Physician in the NFL, primarily as a spinal specialist treating low back and other musculoskeletal injuries. A substantial majority of NFL trainers have developed cooperative relationships with chiropractors, with 77% having referred a player to a chiropractor. Thirty-one percent of NFL teams have a Chiropractic Physician officially on staff, and an additional 12% of teams refer players to Chiropractors.
